Columbus 911 Text Translation
In Columbus, you can now text 911 in your native language.
The Text-2-911 Translation tool allows residents to text 911 in their native language. The technology auto-detects the language of incoming text messages and provides accurate translations in 55 languages without need of language expertise or outside translation services.
As the 911 Call Taker responds in English, the resident receives the response in their language.
