Early Voting Violence in the United States
Election officials in many states have ramped up security citing an alarming amount of threats against election workers in the run up to election day. On Friday, sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspect who they say assaulted an election clerk at a polling location in San Antonio, Texas. According to officials, a voter hit a worker after being told to remove his trump hat before entering the polls, as CNN’s Rafael Romo reports.
