The death toll from Hurricane Helene has risen to at least 130 as the recovery begins and search and rescue efforts continue. North Carolina is the state that has reported the most deaths from Helene with 56. Entire towns are cut off from access to aid. Officials say supplies are starting to trickle into some areas, though nearly 300,000 customers in the state are still without power.
