Meet Sanmya, one of our 12 #BeatTheClock champions. The clock she’s beating is the estimate from the World Economic Forum that it will take 131 years to achieve gender equality. Sanmya isn’t going to wait for that.

In Codó, #Brazil, where water is a scarce resource, it’s easy to understand why young women buckle under their domestic responsibilities and give up on school.
