112622 Bass and Arkhis
I've been diligently working on my guitar skills (bass guitar - that is) for some time now and though I have a long (and fun) road ahead before I can actually claim any fluency with this instrument I am finding some moments that resonate with me.
Specifically speaking I've given myself the adult permission of having no goal, no deadline, no one to impress, and no obligation with my creativity. Breaking away from all that is deeply liberating as it has given me time to find a voice that makes sense to me - if not to anyone else.
This is a video I made to illustrate an improvisation I did today - it includes an orchestral element (Native Instruments "Arkhis") as the backing track and the guitar on top with a little delay effect. I like how it came out and maybe you will too. #creativityliveshere
