Canard RC 1600 / Canard Wing
If you ask pilots what part they started building the Canard, then probably 99 percent out of 100 will answer that, of course, from the canard:) With this most characteristic part of the Canard RC 1600 in the Experimental Airlines style, I will also begin to talk about the design of the entire model. After test flights, the forewing underwent a number of changes. The mounting angle was increased by one degree, which made it possible to reduce the landing speed of the aircraft. Spars made of wooden slats now extend across the entire span of the elevator and stabilizer, and its leading edge is protected by fiberglass reinforced tape. As a result, the canard itself has become more durable, since when landing in grass it will always be most susceptible to impacts from vegetation. The fuselage and fin have also been modified, but you will learn about this in the following videos. And now the biggest thing we need is a 5 mm thick foam base for the laminate, which will serve as the basis for everything that needs to be done.
