IV - Memoria
I actually didn't think I would make phonk again, cause I didn't think I was great at it, but here we are, another attempt. I think this one might be a tad better than my other ones, which again, isn't really saying much. I went in a different direction with this one though, my previous ones were more drift phonk or house phonk ish. This one is more chill or chill phonk, a bit smoother, kind of inspired by DVRST. Originally this beat was actually supposed to be more similar to my other phonk beats, but then I found the sample and heard the bells, and decided to change the direction I was going in with it. The sample I used for the vocals is a remix of Da Summa by Three 6 Mafia. The title is a translation for memory, in many different langauges actually. Oh and the thumbnail is from Mob Psycho 100, one of my favorite anime of all time, great show.
