IV - A Journey's End (Alternate Mix)
This is another version of the song I just uploaded. I mentioned in the description of the other one that I had a hard time with mixing and mastering (I mean I always do, but even more so this time), and that I wasn’t completely sure about the final product. So I saved an alternate version, which is what you’re listening to now, probably. In this one, the leads and background synths are a bit softer, and I believe some of the percussion elements are as well. So yeah, nothing too drastic, but you might be able to hear a slight difference depending on your speakers/headphones. But even then, I’m still not sure if I got it right this time. Maybe it’s just me being nitpicky; I’m not sure.
Oh I also mentioned in the description of the first one that the cover art was also something I couldn’t get right. The version used here was kind of an out-of-left-field idea that I just decided to try just for the sake of trying something different. Before this, I was originally deciding which version or which mix of the song I should use, but when I made this cover art, I now had two versions of the art as well, so I thought, eh, I could just upload two videos.
Also I just realized that with the trial version of FL Studio, I actually am allowed to save files as projects or flp, I'm just not allowed to access them. Before this, I thought you couldn't even save them as flps. So ya, I realized that I also could have saved the projects of all of my other songs, and not just their audio files, so I could eventually fix 'em once I paid for FL. I stupid
