In May 2013, the offshore tugboat
Jascon-4 tugboat
capsized in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean near Nigeria.
Eleven crew members lost their lives.
But one man survived.
For nearly 60 hours, Harrison Okene remained trapped inside an air pocket within the sunken vessel resting 30 meters beneath the sea in the Gulf of Guinea.
With no light, no food, and no way to escape, he waited in darkness while recovery divers searched the wreck.
This documentary tells the real story of endurance inside a submerged shipwreck — one of the most extraordinary underwater survival cases ever recorded.
The recovery operation was conducted by professional divers from DCN Diving Group, who made a discovery no one expected.
A survivor.
This video explores the true events, the conditions inside the wreck, and the rare circumstances that allowed a man to survive where survival was considered impossible.
