2 NB CSX trains in Madison, TN
Here's a video of 2 northbound CSX trains at the Williams Avenue grade crossing in the Nashville suburb of Madison, which is located just north of the music city. After catching the 2 WeGo Star commuter trains, i decided to come up here to see if I could get some freight action this late in the day. Not long after arriving here, I hear the message of a nearby defect detector going off on my scanner, and sure enough there was a NB coming when I saw the headlights in the distance. It ended up being a fairly short mixed freight with a 5 unit lashup that didn't take long to pass. Not long after this train cleared, the nearby DD went off again, and a longer (and slower moving) autorack train came through with a 1x1 GEVO lashup. Didn't get a symbol on either train with these typical GE leaders, but glad I got a little bit of action while I was up here. As always, enjoy!
