[ZX Spectrum] Black Raven New Missions (Compu-Studio, game, 1999)

To your information, there has been a whole shit-a-ton of level editors for Black Raven, including one made by Mednonogov himself, but the map creation software done by a young Ukrainian group called Compu-Studio (still not sure whether Mikhail "Max" Maksimenko was its' only member) became the most popular one out of all-o-these.
I'll also give you a note on that you couldn't use the maps done in Compu-Studio's editor straight away: you either bought a disk with the source code done especially for work with the map creator (its' image is, sadly, unavailable on the internets, although who knows, maybe it may work with the actual source code instead?) or put your new maps as savegames. Inconvinient, eh? If you wanna have your new maps to be played by the game DIRECTLY, your only option is to refer to the software done by S.A.M. Style. Sure, it doesn't have an autodraw feature that Compu-Studio's editor had, but you can simply put your creations on a copy of the second disc.
Anyways, on topic.Black Raven New Missions was done exactly with this map editor and, SURPRISE, it now consumes one floppy disc rather than two! All-new 32 missions for each side, all-new music tracks and loading screens, plus the new "back to main menu" feature (but mind you, it works only on a 256K machine) omitted in the original BR, and the revamped copy protection. As you can see, this game is also harder compared to the original, where kungus didn't had their own base in the first mission. Yeah, nice guess: they DO have one in here, so prepare yourself for tons of enemy raids.
Sadly, it's the only game created by Compu-Studio during its' two-year life span. Okay-okay, apart from that, this group created the Black Crow e-magazine and Black Crow Viewer, the source code to which was given to the users in issue 6, when Compu-Studio was basically about to collapse.
