WARNING: Due to the YouTube's retarded 30 fps limit, all the glory of the multicolor effects will be completely missing from this video, so lemmie just inform you that it's all better than it looks at first. In fact, why won't you try to play it yourself then?

Couldn't resist making another video which shows yet another Action's game. Fifth, to be precise.

A sequel to his Imperia 2000, which changes not only the genre, but the storyline as well. While I2000 was an economical RTS with HOMM-like battles, I2D becomes a classic-style RTS wargame. And while I2000 has its' story loosely based on Starcraft, our today's victim's is based on "The Warriors Of Alchibar". Yeah, you've heard it right: apart from the concrete pavement concept, this game barely has anything to do with Dune. Well, most of the features are swooshed straight away from Starcraft, like the units and the resourses. The best part: it supports Kempston mouse (press "3" ingame and a mouse button so the game would decide whether you're left- or right-handed).

This game is known to be FULL of bugs and several balance problems, which may be seen here: http://www.zxpress.ru/article.php?id=... All the passwords for this game for both sides: http://www.zxpress.ru/article.php?id=... Though, if you WILL play this in any case, one lil' hint: a group of units may be created if you select them manually while holding Symbol Shift (right Shift for UnrealSpeccy users).

Imperia 2 runs normally on Scorpion machines. To lanuch it under Pentagons, follow these:
1) Run the DUNE.B executable.
2) Hold Caps Shift (left Shift for UnrealSpeccy users).
3) Press 2 once and then 3 to exit to the intro.
NOTE: The disk shouldn't be write-protected!

P.S. There is a prototype version of this game called Starcraft 512 which has only one level, mouse-only controls and less optimized code which results in very, very slow gameplay. ZX Guide #4 has an earlier demo version of this, which became obsolete since Slip has lost the old code.
