It all started in the 1990s when the four of us were volunteer ski patrollers at the now defunct Copper Creek Ski Hill in Baie Verte, Newfoundland, Canada. After the hill closed we continued our "boil-ups" at Marble Mountain, where it became an annual event until 2018. Although we are now much older, but not necessarily wiser, hopefully the "boil-ups" can continue, now that the worse of CO-VID seems to be behind us.
