Recovery corrupted mp4 footage from crashed DJI Drone
when a drone crashes to water, most of the time the drone crashes into water, the video footage from the memory card isnt playable,
in this video we will try to recover the corrupted video,
App used to recover:
Untrunc
https://github.com/anthwlock/untrunc
install it on your os,
i am using ubuntu,
sudo apt-get install libavformat-dev libavcodec-dev libavutil-dev
get the source code
make
sudo cp untrunc /usr/local/bin
you will need a working video recorder from the same device,
after installing untrunc,
you can use the following command to repair your corrupted mp4
./untrunc /path/to/working-video.m4v /path/to/broken-video.m4v
