Jack-o-lantern Pinch Pot Part 3: Carving
This video demonstrates how to form a pinch pot into a jack-o-lantern. Part 3 shows you how to carve your jack-o-lantern design.
1. Lightly draw your design on your pumpkin using a scribe tool.
2. Using the blade of a clean-up tool, lightly trace and score your design. Cut lightly and slowly around until you are through.
3. Break complex shapes into multiple simple shapes.
4. Smooth the seam and edges with the clean-up tool by moving in the opposite direction.
