Jack-o-lantern Pinch Pot Part 2: Stem and Ridges
This video demonstrates how to form a pinch pot into a jack-o-lantern. Part 2 shows you how to add a stem and ridges to a pinch pot pumpkin.
1. Roll a coil thinner at one end
2. Thicken the other end so it looks like a carrot
3. Trim and shape your coil
4. Score and slip your pot and stem
5. Press the stem to the pot and smooth the seam
6. Reinforce the seam with a thin coil and blend the seam smooth
7. Use the edge of a tool to press ridges into the pumpkin
