Fourth of July Fireworks (2023)
Hello, and welcome to this year's very late installment of the Fourth of July fireworks special! I’ve had some technical difficulties with this video, so that’s why I’m uploading it so late. Long story (somewhat) short: I have a lamppost at the beginning of my driveway with my address on it, and that lamppost appears several times throughout the original intro and outro segments of the video. I attempted to blur that lamppost whenever it popped up using the YouTube Editor, but I’ve had major technical issues with that. I decided to simply remove the entire intro and outro segments from the video, and just upload the video like that. You’re not missing much here; the original intro contains the same rambling I do every year for about three minutes (“Hello, and welcome to this year’s fireworks video. I don’t know these neighbors personally, so I just have to hope that they’re gonna launch the fireworks...”), and the outro is basically just a “thank you for watching” type of statement. Luckily when my phone was fixed in its position on the tripod to actually film the fireworks, the lamppost wasn’t in view, so I didn’t have to sacrifice any of the actual fireworks footage. This video only contains the fireworks footage, without an intro or outro. I spoke a couple of times sparsely throughout the fireworks footage, so there is a slight bit of commentary integrated into the video, but not too much of it. Enjoy the show!
