Basic Synthesis Model—Pitch Envelope
Pitch of a synthesizer controlled by an envelope. First long note has a envelope with no attack, a 3 second decay, and no sustain. Melody has an envelope with no attack, a 1 second decay, and no sustain. An even shorter decay can give the beginning of a note some complexity without really sounding like the pitch is changing.
