Sonic 3 A.I.R: Prototype Collection ✪ Full Game Playthrough (1080p/60fps)
Sonic 3 A.I.R: Prototype Collection is a BIG collection of mods that try and resemble not only the November 3rd, 1993 prototype of Sonic The Hedgehog 3, but also the 1103 & 0408 prototypes, all made by various creators.
The main feature here is the Prototype Character Pack. This mod replaces the main 3 characters to have their old prototype appearances, including animation changes to be exactly like most people expect. Instead of just the character pack, I had the idea of adding on a whole bunch of various mods that recreated different prototypes.
Many others you'll see here include:
Prototype Title Screen, Prototype Level Pack, Prototype Zone Palettes Pack, Prototype-Styled HUD Icons, Surfboard Intro, 1103 S3 Title Card Banner, Remastered 1103 Prototype Music, 1103 & 0408 Stage Layouts, Original Zone Order, and even the 1103 version of Knuckles' Nametag.
So here it is, the first video of the new era, a pretty long one I might add. Also the debut of the new intro & outro, excited to show them off! So similar to Mania Edition, I had the idea of running both Sonic/Tails & Knuckles in separate playthroughs.
Things to note here -
For one, I didn't go through special stages only cause I don't think there was any sort of differences. Second, the Knuckles playthrough had the prototype Hydrocity level layout and not Sonic & Tails, but it's because I originally thought that Act 2 wasn't possible to beat due to one of the first loops not working, but then ended up restarting the act and all of a sudden it worked. So I guess to anybody that ends up trying prototype Hydrocity is that you should consider restarting the 2nd act once encountering the first loop if stuck. Might be the same thing with Ice Cap Act 2 when taking the lower route.
