And welcome back to another fight with the swarm itself. As the boss comes closer, I welcome its destruction. And in destruction, it is swarming.

Legion
Time Taken to No Damage: 20 minutes
Legion is a mass of human corpses strung together by a tentacle core. Its brain is what you need to damage against. It is constructed by two phases.
Phase 1
Shell: The shell is the meaty bit of Legion you see. These will shed corpses that can be destroyed, but you'll rather want to stay above the floor.
It appears that more corpses are dropped in Hard.
When destroyed, a tentacle will appear.
Laser: The tentacle shoots a laser. The laser is brief, but shoots at a wide range. The best option is to retreat to either side of the arena where there isn't a tentacle, which is a good idea. If not, try to reach a ground where it cannot reach you, either above or below. Take note of its flail direction and your position to decide.
In Hard, the tentacle speed is increased.
Once all of the shells are defeated (or the core Legion takes enough damage), Phase 2 starts. It is pretty simple, but don't underestimate its ability to turn
Phase 2
Flame Breath: Legion breathes fire from four of its tentacles. Your goal here is to stay between the breathing walls, and to attack when it turns around.
Laser: Lasers are shot from each of the tentacles. The gap for safety is tighter, but it is still manageable by all means. The cycle goes clockwise.
Rotation: Legion rotates slightly clockwise. This affects both of these attacks slightly.

Strategy
Jonathan
Gladius, Javelin (Axe works well for Legion's Phase 2)
Charlotte
Tome of Arms II, White Fang, STR Boost (Rock Strike is 2nd best for this)

The first phase has Charlotte using White Fang to damage the core shell. Once the outer shells break where you are, go to the other side quickly.
The reason of White Fang is simple: it gives less risk than Rock Strike, and does more damage for less MP, allowing for a quicker fight.
Once the shell is destroyed, switch to STR Boost and attack when it is safe to do so. These include to wait times during both of its Phase 2 attacks.
Axe for Legion's Phase 2 is actually very good, but I used Javelin because I wanted to get bonus points towards the Javelin quest.
