Khmelnytsky is the economic and cultural center of the Khmelnytsky region, has an excellent location, located at the junction of important transport routes from Western Europe to Central Asia and from the Baltic States to the Black Sea and Turkey. Khmelnytsky is known throughout Ukraine and abroad as a city of trade, which used its shopping center history to become the main location for the production of consumer goods and wholesale and retail trade. It is here that one of the largest wholesale and retail markets in the country is located.
