In this series presentation we will be discussing and learning about mitochondrial function, the powerhouse of energy production.
Mitochondria are organelles that produce energy for cells. They are found in almost all cells of the human body, and are often called the "powerhouse of the cell".
We will discuss how many gene mutations in mitochondrial function can influence energy production and contribute to significant health problems.
