Automotive trim restoration is quickly becoming a lost art. I was lucky enough to find Michael Fraker who as I say in the title is an old school car guy (73 years old) and Master automotive trim restorer. I wanted to make this video to capture a little bit of Michael and his work which made a huge difference on how the restoration of my 1969 Dodge Coronet 4 door turned out. This is especially important for me and anyone else restoring a 4 door because many parts for the 4 door are not the same as for a 2 door car and not readily available for sale. Between the www.forbbodiesonly.com Mopar forum where I was able to find and buy some used parts, and Michael who was able to restore my parts, I managed to get my trim in excellent shape. Michael was able to remove dents, and fix some nasty issues with the wheel opening moldings (one of them actually had a twist in it, I have no idea how Michael was able to fix it).

If you are in the Tucson area, or anywhere actually (Michael restores trim and even fabricates pieces for people across the US), and need some help with your trim, you can reach Michael at:
