Well folks, I have had this video since December 2025 and was not sure what to do with it because it is on the long side. I finally decided to just make the video and post it as is for those that would like to take a hike with Jerry and I through the washes of the Desert Hills II neighborhood while we talk about the history of the trails among other things. This has been a labor of love for Jerry. He and his wife spend nearly 6 months of the year here in Green Valley, then head home to Minnesota for the other 6 months. While here in Green Valley, for the past 19 years, Jerry works on creating new trails and maintaining the older trails and general neighborhood beautification as his self-assigned project. This effort took a LOT OF WORK! I am sure you can appreciate Jerry's efforts in clearing land to build and maintain the trails. I think Jerry told me that he is 84, and he still gets down in the washes to build and maintain the trails!!! He tells me that he has run in to javelina multiple times, but each time, the encounters have been peaceful!
