For some reason, someone did new mufflers back on this car and left rusty header pipes that had holes in them. The gentleman I bought the car from was nice enough to send a box of parts with the car, and I have used most of them at this point. Included was a nice new pair of chrome exhaust tips. Since I had to go to an exhaust shop anyway, I decided to have that work done as well. While I was at the shop, I met Tony who owns the HellCat. He told me that at idle, there was something in the exhaust system that made the car almost silent. He found a kit from Borla that addressed this issue, and he also found a cool set of exhaust tips that he wanted installed. I was chatting with him while the cars were being worked on and found hime to be a very nice and knowledgeable guy! His car got done first, and I am glad it did because I was able to video the sound of his new exhaust and his exit from the parking lot for your listening pleasure! I also met Steve and Blain, the two guys that worked at the shop. Again, these guys were really nice and knowledgeable. I could tell that Steve and Blaine really cared about doing a good job. They took a lot of time and effort to do the job right and make sure the exhaust tips were straight and level when they got to the point of working on those. I could not be happier with the work that was done, and I felt the price was reasonable. I have included a pic of the invoice at 14:25 of the video. I feel comfortable recommending this shop to anyone needing exhaust work, they really know what they are doing!!!
