Next in the series is a very beautiful, traditional Marathi Aarti song.
Nowadays we come across a lot of Abhangs in Carnatic concerts too, but I wanted to find a song that is very special and specific for worshiping Devi in the Marathi tradition. I searched for a lot of bhajans and abhangs in this wonderful language, but this Aarti felt so special and I felt instantly connected to Devi when I heard it. I feel immensely blessed to learn and perform this during this Navaratri.

In this video, you can see me wearing a beautiful Paithani saree, which is a variety of saree which is specifically woven by hand in Maharashtra. Thanks to Sudha aunty for gifting me this wonderful saree.
