President Karzai returned with a smiling face to Kabul after six days of official visits to the US and UK, where he met President Obama of US and the newly elected British Prime Minister David Cameron. In his six days of visits, Karzai discussed amongst other topics of interest, the reintegration and mainstreaming of fighting factions as Taliban and Hizb-e-Islami of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar through a peace jirga to be held in Kabul. The meeting between Karzai and Obama was thought to be a stressful one after intense clashes of words between the US officials and Afghan President after the surprise visit of Kabul by the US leader earlier this year. Karzai and Obama agreed that mutual understanding would be enhanced and that the US won`t abandon Afghanistan after it starts withdrawal as per their plan from July 2011. ``
