Massacre in Malaya by British Troops
Between 1948 and 1960, British Forces were involved in a bloody conflict in a far corner of the crumbling British Empire, Malaysia. Referred to as the Malayan Emergency, British Forces had their biggest loss of life, in a conflict, since the Second World War. 1,443 dead.
The 'Emergency' was smeared by reports of the massacre of 24 unarmed civilians, by British Soldiers from 7 Platoon, G Company, the 2nd Battalion the Scots Guards in a village called Batang Kali in 1948.
