Dead Fender Frontman 15G that I bought for only a few dollars found on Craigslist. This amp had a blown fuse and after checking around found that the common cause of this was a bad TDA2050 amp chip.
When I opened it up and checked the connections, the 4th pin on the chip had shorted to ground. Normally only the 3rd pin should have connectivity to ground.
Once I replaced the chip and fuse, this amp fired back to life. I used electrical contact cleaner on all the pots and jacks while it was open.
I ordered the replacement chip from Amazon ($12 for 5 chips)
The guitar in this video is a Hagstrom Ultra Swede with set neck.
