On Monday, August 18th, homeless people in a shelter in the Bronx received a letter from the city giving them 24 hours and two garbage bags to pack up their lives and be ready to be bussed to a new shelter. Some of them had been there for years - can you imagine if someone showed up at your doorstep and told you that? So they called us. And we helped them reach out to allies, and elected officials, and organize a protest. And they did. And the city backed down. Here's sixteen minutes of how to fight back and win.
