OCR Receipt Extraction with Tap Forms 5, Shortcuts and Vuescan
In this video I walk through the process I run to scan my receipts in and process them to Tap Forms 5. I use Vuescan to scan in the receipts, Shortcuts to OCR the image, a PHP script to upload the image and OCR text to a CouchDB instance connected to Tap Forms 5 and then scripting to extract the text and set the fields.
