Making wafer paper Crinoline Lace. For flat pasting onto cake surface. A good hack if you are short of flowers or feel that the cake is too empty.
What I can conclude about making crinoline lace:
1) consistency of recipe - the thickness/consistency of batter affects the result. Dilute with more water to get a lacy but fragile result.
2) heat level- too low heat will not give enough bubbles to create lacy texture.
3) type of non-stick pan - yes it matters, in this video is ceremic non-stick pan, which may not be the best.
All 3 factors plays a part, therefore make adjustments to recipe and heat according to the type of non-stick pan you are using.
