Making your first connection with #VNCConnect is easy. Here is a simple video that will explain how to use RealVNC’s #remoteaccess software to make your first connection.
First, we’ll show you how to sign in to your RealVNC account, and then we’ll keep it simple by showing you how to provide unattended access to a Windows, Mac or Linux computer, using VNC Connect’s device access capability.
You’ll be shown how to download, install, and activate the VNC Server app on the machine you wish to control, using your #RealVNC account credentials. Then you’ll grab a second device – the one you want to control from – and download our free #VNCViewer app from our website or your mobile device’s App Store. Sign in using the same RealVNC account credentials you used for the #VNCServer, and an icon of the remote computer will automatically appear on your screen.
When you click to make your first connection, you’ll need to authenticate again; this time, enter the Active Directory or equivalent system credentials you normally use to log in to your account on the remote computer. Having two separate authentication systems helps keep remote access secure.
Now you can control your computer from anywhere in the world, at any time. If you’re taking a free 30 day trial, all you need to keep remote access at the end is sign in to your RealVNC account online and click the Subscribe to VNC Connect button on the Billing page. There’s no need to set up a new RealVNC account in order to purchase VNC Connect at the end of your trial.
