For valentine's day, my wife and I agreed to not buy each other any lavish gifts this year because we are planing to go on a few trips this year and don't need to break the bank on material things. Of course I couldn't simply give her nothing so I did what any creative person would do, I made her something.
In this video I document myself making her a DIY valentine gift, a beautiful Bathtub Tray made from maple and walnut.
There is really not much to this build and it could even be greatly simplified if you don't have a shop full of tools like I am lucky enough to have. I just laminated a piece of maple to a piece of walnut and measured and cut out some recessed circles for some candles and drinks.
