I just finished making a raised planter box out of cedar fence pickets for my last video which left me with two things, plenty of scrap cedar, and the need to plant some mint. Since I built the planter box to plant lots of fragrant herbs to cook with, I was told not to plant mint with the rest of the herbs because it would take over the whole box. Problem solved....
For this project, I used a few pieces of scrap cedar and a beautiful grey square pot, to make this stylish DIY Wooden Plant Stand. It is very simple and modern in design and perfect for outdoor decor since cedar is so weather tolerant. Any DIYer can make something like this in about 30 minutes and I encourage you to play around with different designs and put that scrap wood to good use.
