Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on itch.io. The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Sonic.Exe, also known today as Xenophanes, is a demonic entity very obsessed with Sonic, idolizing him and taking his appearance. He first debuted in his eponymous creepypasta in the year 2011, where he cold-bloodedly kills Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman, while mentally torturing players (Kyle and Tom) who play "his" game. He gained even more prominence with a game made in 2013 by MY5TCrimson. Several other games created by fans of this story continued it, creating a duology called Sally.Exe, or also new interpretations (Nightmare Beginning and Spirits of Hell for example). He is very popular in various other forms of media and as of 2021 has had a resurgence thanks to this mod.
Vs. Sonic.EXE is a mod. The main opponent of the mod is the titular character from the Sonic.EXE series, but it also features many other horror-oriented characters from other official and fan-made Sonic media, including Sonic (PC PORT), Sonic CD, Sunky, Sonic R, Sonic Shorts, and Sonic the Comic.
Green Mountain is a fangame in the Sonic the Hedgehog Series released by a user named "grenmoun_s o n i c" on 12th January 2024.
A sequel simply named Two was released in August 2024.
On January 12th, a mysterious user named grenmoun_s o n i c uploaded a game called Green Mountain on the Sonic Fangame website. Upon playing it you will be greeted with an eyeless Sonic with disturbing music. As the game title says, the whole purpose for this game is to climb a mountain without any enemies or obstacles. Upon reaching the summit, Sonic will meet a doppelgänger of himself, albeit his face and underbelly are replaced with nothing but a black hole, along with his partially dark body. While silent for a moment, the entity springs to life, initiating a boss battle. While things seem normal, the doppelgänger tries to run away, only for the game's window to prevent his escape. One last hit and the entity disappears into sludge, with Sonic stuck at the peak of the mountain, with the music cutting out.
While that seems to be the ending at first, after then like 3 minutes the game starts to deteriorate along with Sonic, as parts of the game start disappearing into darkness one by one. Sonic starts to turn like his doppelgänger and will stand lifelessly on the screen, following with a GAME OVER, accompanied with distorted, delayed dialing sounds, with the cycle presumably repeating with another Sonic.
...But the tale does not end there. Digging into the game's files reveals an entirely different story. Two figures converse amongst each other, discussing whether or not they brought a shovel as they travel on the Green Mountain trail. The two appear to be digging something, presumably a body, and need to talk to a third person, notably referred to as a woman. How it connects to the story within the game itself, if at all, is unclear.
End is a character who appears in an eerie Sonic Fangame, known as Green Mountain.
End bears the same appearance as the original Sonic. However, his eyelids are closed. At the end of the game, his appearance becomes more darker, his face and underbelly melt into a black hole, followed by his arms, legs and ears, turning into End.
