Post Milton Response: Medard Reservoir
The District is releasing water from the Medard Reservoir in Hillsborough County and using Army Corps pumps to lower lake levels to protect the structural integrity. Staff are monitoring the release of water around the clock. Medard Reservoir received nearly 7 inches of rainfall in the watershed and the reservoir rose 6.5 feet as a result of Hurricane Milton.
