The anguish of people caught in the concrete and toxic pollution of the Central City is responsible for a lot of the problems that kids and people have. The SC Farmers tried to form a path back to the land -- what we call "eco-therapy". It was part of the motivation for the hundreds of people who tried to save Ballona Wetlands Ecosystem, where kids could have come to a genuine wildlife corridor and series of riparian, brackish and salt-water wetlands and marshland.
The idea was that becoming part of healing the land also heals the people.
The very articulate SC Farmers here remind us of their mission.
