I hope you are able to listen with an open mind. I want to take on assumptions and stigmas around neurodivergence and ADHD that have worked against me (and my fellow neurodivergent Asian Americans) for a very long time and still do. My experience with ADHD is extremely personal and also very important to me, so I hope that my story and this information on what ADHD is can help someone understand ADHD earlier than I did. Also, I am not an ADHD expert (though maybe I will be one day!); I am a person with lived ADHD experience who has researched a lot, so please check out the resources I reference in this video for yourself!
