Sonic Pi 4 5 on RaspberryPi (bookworm) 64bit OS
Video shows installation and setup of SonicPi version 4.5 on Raspberry Pi (bookworm) 64bit OS released on October 10th 2023. It will run on a P3, P4, Pi4100 and Pi5. This is the latest version of Sonic Pi, and it has been configured to work with this Operation System, using PipeWire and Wayland.
Note the Screen transparency will NOT work under Wayland at present. If that is an issue for you, you can change the system to use Openbox Window Manger with X11 backend. You sue ther command line sudo raspi-config to do this selecting option 6 Advnaced followed by A6 Wayland to do so.
