Found an early look at Liz breaking into the big time. Amazing what a little style and pizazz will do for a skater. This skating, while strong and fast, is not all that different from skating you can see any day at your local rink. She would learn a great deal in just a short amount of time.....eventually claiming the 1988 Olympic Silver medal.
This is also the first bilingual program I ever remember seeing. In fact, I dare say it is the first time a non-English program was shown on American television.
