Soar - Laura Platt
Leaning really into the electro-orchestral genre with this piece! Writing for huge string and brass sections is always a blast, and I particularly enjoyed writing some of the more elegant legato lead lines here.
In case you missed the last few tracks, I'm excited to say (once again) that this is yet another track I got the opportunity to work on for Epidemic Sound! I'll be continuing to work with them going forward, which I'll be returning to a relatively consistent level of releasing music again. Over the past year, I've completed 11 (!!) full new tracks working for them, so expect to see a lot more in the next few months! It took me about 8 years of my life part-time work to finish up Exhale, my last album, so I'm more excited than can really be put into words to have been provided an opportunity to compose so much of my own music.
