Mido does mostly slash damage. He has the roller slide which is crush. The blood bullet in phase 1 and 2 which tracks the player is a pierce attack. Defending against blood values is a fool's errand during a Mido engagement. The inhibit debuff is especially devastating in phase 2 as the debuff occurs instantly before the damage calculations are taken into account. Therefore, it's possible to defend against the attack, but the debuff removes defenses and then the damage is calculated. Mido is especially dubious.
