The Butterfly does 100% CRUSH damage. The poison clouds that appear are unblockable crush damage. The venom buildup is not possible to mitigate simultaneously with the damage. This is one of those times where an intentional death to proc White Mia's Guardian Aid is a pre-requisite to pulling off the shenanigans entailed herein.
