AWD motor mount replacement with Prothane Motor Mounts. These are advertised as fitting the ASTRO / SAFARI they DO NOT. You can make them work with a lot of modification... (it took me several awful days but I do not have a lift so I was lying on the floor using a flashlight a lot. ) This video will show you how I modified them and installed in So$ari. I added ONE shim plate under each mount to adjust the fit. This job is NOT for the faint of heart so I hope my nightmare install will help you with yours. (sorry about the low volume the first 10 seconds)
NOTE.. I've done a oil cooler delete so I didn't have to deal with oil cooler lines on the drivers side .. If you still have them there will be more in your way then you will see in my video.
Most motor mounts for sale today are crap so research is important.
For great comparisons of motor mounts from the auto parts store I refer you to 2 excellent videos on motor mounts by Michael Zicopoulos.

Now in his videos he said the AWD motor mount was off-set in the clam shell by 1/4" toward the rear of the vehicle -- However I did not need to do that in my van.. I think every vehicle is going to be a little different as to exact fit...
