It is so easy and effective to create a drop-down list in Excel
Let's say you want to have a drop-down list of products you want it to be selectable from this cell here.
Go to the data tab, click on data validation and choose list from the menu choice. In the source select the choices you want to make available and hit enter
Make sure In-cell dropdown is ticked and hit ok
Now when you are in this column and you hit the down column it will give you all of these product choices to choose from.
I’ve incorporated a VLOOKUP into this list so that it automatically pulls other data as the product changes
If you try to type something outside the range it will give you an error message that the value does not match the list.
