12. Node Voltage and Mesh Current II
Node-voltage analysis is performed on a circuit with a ‘floating’ voltage source. The voltage source is handled by defining an unknown current through it and performing KCL at all non-reference nodes. The system of equations is solved using matrix techniques (not demonstrated). Mesh-current analysis is performed on a circuit with a current source on an inner branch. The current source is handled by defining an unknown voltage across it and performing KVL on all independent loops. Solution of the system of equations is left to the viewer.
