08 Operational Amplifiers with Energy Storage Devices
A basic operational amplifier differentiator and integrator are analyzed in the time-domain. The open-loop characteristic of the basic integrator is pointed out. This is corrected by looking at a Miller integrator. The integrator is analyzed in the frequency domain. An active low-pass filter and an active high-pass filter are introduced and the magnitude plots are presented. The half-power frequency is defined.
