Pre-lab assignments help students get on the same page
How do you get students come to lab more prepared and ready to work in groups? Give pre-lab assignments or quizzes that incentivize students to look at, and understand the course work before arriving for class. Grade the assignments to encourage participation, and ensure that all students are coming to class prepared and and ready to engage.
