Student interaction with the course material is a sure bet to increase engagement. There are plenty opportunities for interaction through homework including pre-lab activities, safety, lab concepts, discussions, and supplementary reading provided through a variety of online tools. In class, face-to-face discussion and iClicker are powerful ways to encourage interaction. University of Kentucky Chemistry Lab Coordinator explains.
